Lemon curd, vanilla, and a hint of buttered popcorn in the nose is followed by a deftly spiced peach and citrus/stone fruit palate...the oak is present, and although not overly wrought, its just a touch too much for my complete enjoyment....

Sep 21st, 2017Way better than anticipated. A bit sweeter, super well-rounded, and held up very well on its own. Could drink a lot of this. Not crisp, but delicious and lasting.

Finally opened this golden oldie, a 2007 Carneros Chardonnay; the cork broke into pieces but the wine is still fantastic.
Pesto pasta with Cajun shrimp and a caprese salad.
Robert didn't want more than a half a glass before asking for something red to drink.
Oaky, buttery, rich, round, butterscotch, ...
