This bottle showed a little less exuberance than my most recent one. The red fruits were more subdued, which made the acidity feel a little more prominent. Still, it was a very good Chianti and one that paired well with food (Chicken Parm tonight).

Really nice, clean, and balanced Chianti with sweet black and sour red cherries taking center stage. There's some evidence of oak on the finish, but it's offset by zippy acidity and complementing notes of spice and leather. I really like this.

Dark cherry in colour. Notes of tar, and spice on the nose. Peppery on the palate, medium tannins, red cherry. Good, could use another 3-4 years ,to round out.

Really benefits from a few hours of air. Lots of luscious red cherry on the palate, with a perfect balance of sweet and tart elements. Long, clean finish. This is just at the front of its drinking window.
