1996 was a good year! BUT not now, a friend gave me this Muller Emily's Cuvée 1996. Cork was fine but the wine is just about completely Gone. Thin and fading quickly. Nice try..

Classic RRV Pinot. Old school.

Rich, ripe style.

2019. Great. Full-bodied balanced dark berry big Pinot…emblematic amongst the best of the Russian River single vineyard issues.

Emily's Cuvée - 2015, Russian River Valley. Last time this wine/vintage, vineyard was disappointing so rated way down...this time not so, more like the other Mueller RR Pinot Noirs. Means better if not in the realm of the best... yada yada yada... it's a Mueller! Bouquet, balance, deep color and enhanced palate, finesse, though a bit more tannin than the usual big Pinot Mueller's...still, among the good to great Pinots of CA. and yes, OR.

8.0-8.5 for Emiley’s Cuvée, 2015 Russian River Valley. Either we opened too soon or the wine is just not up to Mueller standard...big bite at open, never softens, bite at finish , too tannic though hints of powerful flavor.

A well rounded oakiness flavor. A nutty tone with hints of cherry. Great pinot with any meal or to sip throughout the evening.

Very nice! Fruity after tones, strong scent of earthiness, and hints of chocolate.
