Absolutely terrific cab from Mondavi. After 16 years, this wine is still expressing tremedous fruit as well as all those secondary aromatics you'd expect from a Napa cab at this age. What impressed me most was the combination of balance and intensity that this wine displayed from start to finish. A pity that this is our last bottle of this, because I think this still has several years of evolution left. Just a great example of what can be achieved in CA when terrific fruit is in the right hands. Raise a glass to the late Mr. Mondavi and enjoy!
