Super classic. Still deep ruby with just a hint of brick at the rim. Nose is dried cherries, tobacco, some sur maturitie of black fruits (blackberry, plym/prune) and a eucalyptus note that my said reminds her of Australia 🇦🇺.
Medium plus body, with almost no perceptible tannin. Caveat that this was matched with wood grilled sirloin and unexpectedly, outrageously hot 🔥 Pimiento de Padron peppers, so my mouthfeel after the first few sips is highly compromised.
