For more than 40 years, Robert Mondavi Winery has been the symbol of Napa Valley. Founded in 1966, it was the first major winery built in Napa Valley in the 3 decades following the repeal of Prohibition, and went on to establish the foundation for modern California winemaking. Dark Ruby with aromas of red/black fruits and earthy spice. On the palate cherry and raspberry flavors with herb spice. Soft tannins on a savory frame carry the wine to a lingering finish.

Decent pinot. I like it but I've forgotten about it already.

Ruby color with restrained raspberry, earth and a bit of spice aromas. On the palate it's medium-bodied showing a nice balance of fruit, acid and tannins with raspberry, strawberry, earth and pronounced spice flavors. Med finish. A relatively good value @$26.

Had o nApril 16th, with our grilled lamp. Perfect match. Just enough fruit, but not overwhelming, nice lingering aftertaste.

Very adaptable wine. Goes with shellfish starter followed by red meat. It is not fruity and not too intense but very smooth and delightful. Highly recommend
