Deep dark cherry. Still a dark color that leans more to ruby and not brick at all. A little menthol on the nose. Bit of cranberry. Less fruit on palate than I would have imagined, but a little still there. Some cedar, but oak not as much of an influence which is nice. Tannins getting quite soft. A little creamy blue fruit on the finish.
