Deep and lush with pronounced red and black fruit, nice acid and ample tannin. Finish is long and mouthwatering. A great effort for a vintage that was largely panned by critics. Great winemakers still made great wine in 2011 and this is a great example. I suspect this one will also improve over the next decade or so.

I wouldn't normally go for a Napa Cab but this was good. A big wine but also very balanced. From magnum.
