2nd wine of the night and much better. Likely better fruit expression but had enough back bone for me

Wow...black currants, dark chocolate, under currents of oak and earthiness. I should have given this wine more time to breathe

Wow! Great aromas of black fruit, chocolate and maple syrup. Intensely fruit forward with tastes of black currants, cassis, chocolate covered dark cherries, with some oak hints. Tannins are refined with a little earthiness very nicely integrated overall. The finish is stupid long with lingering fruit notes that scream “put more of this in my glass!”

Opened up really well. Finished like a Zin, but starts with a well-balanced approach, delicious cassis and dark cherry. Definitely an enjoyable wine.
