Claret Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby color with aromas of dark fruit, floral and minty herbs, mix of mountain and valley floor vineyards. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cherry and currants with cacao and oak notes. Full-body, well balanced with fine tannins on a long finish, ending with fruit, oak and spice. Will age well. Very Nice!

Black cherry, vanilla and spice (oh, so nice)

First time having anything from the Robert Foley portfolio. Thanks to @David A Lentine for sending me this treasure, I'm very thankful! The nose alone can be smelled 2-3 foot away, so inviting presenting sweet pipe tobacco, mild earthiness mixed with plum and sandalwood. Well rounded in all directions, soft plush tannins coupled with perfect acidity. Milk chocolate, slight minerality element and black tea bring this wine to a long asian spiced finish. Elegant wine.

Young and vibrant it took a double decant to begin to loosen up & blossom. Went beautifully with a dry-aged steak and evolved over the meal. Beautiful stuff, and given another five years to mellow & mature.

Fabulous bouquet. Deep purple color. Full-bodied. Lots of red raspberries, currants, and mocha. Fine tannins. A complex wine with a lingering and satisfying finish.

Blueberries, blackberries, bitter chocolate, lavender, and a bit of spice. Full-bodied, velvety smooth, and yummy!

Really good blend.

Rated this a couple of years ago. I like it better now. Chocolate, mocha, dark fruits, cherry cola, and a beautiful bouquet. Fair warning, though. The wine was very tannic when I opened the bottle and needed several hours of decanting to settle down.

A bit past its prime, but still nice. A lot of plums, blackberries, cherries, and chocolate. If you have this time wine, don’t wait any longer to drink it.

Blend of 100% Cab. Very deep, dark, grainy and concentrated. Bring a knife and fork. A touch pruny on the finish. Actually overpowered a giant fatty 🥩.
