Nose has ripe blackberry, black cherry liquor, (light) ripe strawberry with lingering spice notes.
Palate has ripe black cherry, light barrel toast notes, dark chocolate shavings, ripe blueberry with touches of sweetness and bitterness on the medium finish.
A decent bottle, but not as much of a standout as the 2010 vintage. Still years to go on this 2011, mild tannins remain, future bottles can be 2021+ without concern.

WS had this pegged at a 2013-2018 drinking window, would have liked to try this a year ago, but we generally don't touch Zinfandel with less than 6-8+ years of bottle age, need mellowing time. Anyone holding this bottle, could do so easily until 2020-21. What a focused, sexy wine...

Good Zin. Plenty of power lots of dark fruit and juicy as. Lots of time left.

A classic Zinfandel with spicy aromas and big dark juicy fruits dominated by blackberry, blueberry and cherries with also licorice. A big finish with mild acidity and just fun to drink
