Kind of a funky beef jerky bouquet, great fruit and acidity balance on the palate. Tongue tingles long after the sip with notes of cassis and prunes. It's fantastic.

Any wine that can shine from a plastic cup deserves extra kudos. Mistook for a Northern nebbiolo with its structure, detail, & balance, but the fruit is pure southern, pomegranate & black currants. Eye opener (esp for 30$ list). Want to re taste in proper stemware. I think 80% nero di trioa 20% montulpiciano

Nicely balanced red from Puglia. Dark berry, oak, liquorice, and earthiness. Will benefit from some more time in the bottle or decanter,

The falcon, does not fly high in this case. I find it somewhat light. Not that exciting, but nonetheless, a good Saturday afternoon wine.
