Very well balanced with fruit and oak and acidity all present and playing their roles without overwhelming the others. Priced like a sipper; drinks like a table wine. A nice, full bodied oaky wine with notes of pear and vanilla. Sonoma County, California River Road Family Vineyards. Winemaker Ed Morris. I enjoyed sipping this wine with family, sitting on the deck. I can imagine this wine paired with a clam and butter sauce over pasta. Really nice wine.

Honey-hued. Aromas and flavors of baking spice, grapefruit, mango, melon, minerals, passionfruit, pear, and tangerine. Medium body and medium-high acidity. Flavorful on the palate and a crisp, elegant finish with a slight hint of vanilla and lemon zest. Excellent example of a lightly oaked California chardonnay.
