An odd Barolo. Medium Ruby color with aromas of ripe red fruits and earthy forest spice. On the palate cherry and plum fruits with wafts of tobacco and spice. Firm Biting Tannins, a bit too savory on a medium finish. Bottle opened for 2 hours and did not seem to improve, ends with an off earthy character. Pass on this one.

Desiccated red fruits, mocha, dark chocolate with dried tomato leaves. The structure is quite soft for a Barolo. Modern style.

very good first sip, very balanced and not heavy. im not a huge fan of barolo but this definitely surprised me. great for multiple people. not terribly complicated but round tannins and a tabacco on the taste and herb on the nose.

All around great. First sip tasted like honeycomb. Great balance of tannins and fruit. Aftertaste could have been better on a few sips. Paired with lasagna & enjoyed thoroughly.

Pretty darn yummy for a Barolo under $18. Taste of tobacco, cherry, oak and grippy tannins.

8.7 compared to other Barolo's, but I'd say an 8.9 for QPR.. Pretty decent for only $25, has all the right stuff including earthyness, leather, ripe red fruit tones, and acidity, only lacking the floral aroma and a touch of tannin, not bad though for a newcomer to the grape.
