Sometimes I enjoy action films. Don't need to think about it too much, just sit back and take in the in your face, pure entertainment. This wine is like that. But more Oceans 11 than Fast and Furious. It's full throttle but has layers and depth.

Heady stuff. Raspberry, boysenberry, red apple skins, violets, smoke. High alcohol gives it a scorched taste I didn’t love.

Black pepper, peach yogurt, sour cream, bramble, purple colored mixed berry jam. Less floral than Turley. Elevated integrated and sweet tannins and moderate (minus) acid. Dry with ripe attack, and juicy on the palate. 14.9%. 96% Zin, 2% Alicante Bouchet.
