Becoming more lean, restrained and earth driven as it opens. Mid palate is all cranberry acidity, juicy cherry, slightest touch of new oak on perceptible on the right side of my tongue. Tannin, burnt earth, dried herbs, lavender, graham cracker and brown sugar on the finish. Quite the mix of savory and juicy on the palate. A little slight overall but solid.

Ah Ridge. Ripe nose. Red fruits meet balsamic reduction. Flavors are pretty classic coast Zin. Jam and smoke. Very balanced wine. Lovely, pure CA Zin finish.
