Jul 16th, 2019What a delicious Cabernet. Probably one of the best Cali cabs for under $100. Monte Bello fruit. Cassis, blackberry and blueberry, with a mineral edge of graphite and slate. Impeccably balanced.

Bad photo, good wine. Dusty tannins, deep and multi-layered. A tiny bit vegetal at first with tart cherry notes, but time in glass allowed the deep blue fruits and cassis to come out. Paired well with a prime ribeye. Thanks for the restaurant recommendation @Bill Bender !!
