Bold but beautiful. Drinking nice now but could go another 10.

This is absolutely gorgeous. Black tea, licorice root, graphite, smoke, burnt popcorn kernel, musty Bordeaux style. Tremendous structure, dusty chalk and dynamic acidity, especially for California Cabernet. Black pepper, heat and severity with tremendous nuance and quite a set of balls. Baby Monte Bello...all of the complexity with a little less of the weight.

Gorgeous mountain style cab. A great lift on the mid palate that stops this from being heavy. Oak, fruit, and the tertiary notes of mint, minerality, and soft organic earth are all in harmony. Brilliant now. Can't wait to see where this goes.
Structure is excellent - bright acid, present but not gristly tannin.

It's very hard to tell this one because I feel like it's a baby. Somehow softer than the Merlot! New American oak on the nose that quickly dissipates. Young but concentrated. Gorgeous color. Juicy berry fruit, shocking restraint, vanilla cola finish, sticky tannins.

Definitely young. Would love to hold this for 10 years. Tannic, somewhat vegetal with some black fruit. Lovely and extremely elegant.

Found 2 of these for $45ea, good buys IMO, great cab dominate blend. First time having Ridge Cab.
