Needs a bit more time in the bottle, but it opens itself up nicely. More earth than fruit, just how I prefer. Looking forward to seeing how this does on day two.

Lovely red summer berries, silky tannins, fresh acidity and good overall balance. As you always judge producers by their entry level ambitions, climbing up the quality latter promise to be a thrill.

No hints of 2008 smokiness here. Powerful, fleshy fruit & wonderfully fresh, cracking acidity. Tannins offer a subtle grip, plenty of structure still evident here. Excellent example of Sonoma Pinot.
