Lemon, almonds, bread on the nose. Smells like champagne! Palate is nice and opens with some air. More lemon, toast with light butter, some grass. Finish gives cream and green apples. Overall I like this better than the perpetual but was hoping for more. Curious how this will stand up to other champagnes this evening.
