I thought this was wonderful, and drinking in a prime window. Hard to imagine drinking this younger though and it’s dense. A lot of dark ripe fruit on the nose...blackberry and blueberry with cocoa and nutmeg. There is a slate note on the palate with dusty chocolate and baked fig. Pulls back before it turns hedonistic like. Delicious.

It was a bit tight at first so double decanted. But once it opened up it sang all the right notes. A splurge wine (for me) and worth every penny. Paired with Steak Rossini and Pommes Anne. Yowzer!

Structured Cabernet that starts off quite classic in aromas for Napa. Problem starts in the mouth, bitter and feels very unbalanced in its oak and tannins.
