Nose is lovely with warm growing season cherry fruit. One smells the saturation. Smells like sunshine, cherries and limestone. Flowers and terrific depth and complexity. Palate is ripe, juicy and concentrated with lovely balance, purity and energy. Big tannins and quite nimble. Sappy and dense. Maybe not showing much elegance yet but with air it will. And it does need air. I’ll be back. 9.4 to 9.2 with air. Shut down. Became thin and hot.

So clean, so vivid and so deep aromas, palate is juicy and super complex already with the classic grippiness of CDC allied with powerfully concentrated flavors and very youthful fruit. Awesome palate and young but not inaccessible. A very stoney mineral and rocky finish. Incredible depth, power and stunningly detailed earthy sweetness. So pure and so clean. A classic and brilliant CDC.

More fruit comes as air penetrates. The 15 shows more. Super concentrated and intensely structured with dazzling purity and a taught, intense structure. Very very pure and so so long. This is brilliant now but in 10 years, this is profound. Stunning.

Stoney nose with deep red cherries, mint and wonderful underbrush aka sous bois. Gorgeous nose. Palate is juicy, complex and full of fruit but a brooding structure as well. Exceptional balance and freshness. Stunning depth. Maybe at 5% of what it is capable of. Deep and concentrated fruit that is dense as it is young and raw. Amazing potential. Classic Clos du Chenes.
