A great blend of yeasty and salty notes followed by nutty, carmel, brown spice flavors. Just a hint of rs.

Wowza. This makes the cold outside seem far, far away.

Brilliant wine, salty, bread dough, with caramel and roasted nuts. The oxidized component here impeccably weaves the aromas, flavors and offsets with enough freshness to keep things light on their feet. A long, clean and focused finish. #sherry #palocortado #casilla

NV. Most pleasant. Smooth and a perfect digestivo.

Savory, brine, darker nuts: walnut and hazelnuts, dried orange peel, violets. Neat!

18+ best of my Palo Cortados. Has the refinement of an en rama with weight and length. Might marginally prefer Hart Bros (Hidalgo) manzanilla en rama for its bracing attack as an aperitif, but this perhaps better with food- should do comparative tasting
