Last bottle from a case purchased 5 years or so ago. First tasted at R&D on Montana in Santa Monica. (Celeb sighting- Arnold!) only purple nearly opaque. Subdued nose maybe due to 14.8 abv. Tarry leathery on the palate. Big ass wine, bigger than I recall. Always enjoyed this wine with a burger. Will try to buy more recent vintage.
