Walla Walla Valley Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon

Medium garnet red. Love the rocks funk on the nose, a little black pepper, smoky, meaty, some spices and light red berries. Even a touch floral on the backend. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Savory attack on the palate with tons of crushed rocks and some dried herbs. Undertones of red berries such as cherries and strawberries too but not overly bright. Long gravelly finish. Drink till 2020.

Smell was amazing. Sweet, fresh, smooth. Taste was delightful- more mellow than the smell (not fruity in taste at all) but full bodied and a really wonderful wine. Different from a 'California cabernet' flavor but enjoyable.

Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon am offshoot of reynvanne all walla walle fruit . A good bit if barnyard fresh earth and that animal game like note light smoke to the plum and cherry fruit. A very ehonesque fashioned wine with that barnyard and savage note through the finish. Finish 35+ excellent +

Terrible punny label, but this is declassified Reynvaan juice and it brings the Rocks funk at a great price.

Kind of a second label for Reynvaan with some of their classic aromatic hallmarks. Good out-take material and affordable.

Fun bottle on the nose and palette at a great price. Notes of minerals, gravel and spring water keep things interesting.

Hsing visit 10/17/18. Balanced meaty savory mostly Syrah wine. Not sure where I acquired it.

A little spice with back-up notes of fruit.

Interesting nose, could place it immediately and decided to let it air out for a while. Had a slight brine, floral and mineral nose, different than what I was expecting. The brine tang was there in the finish with hints of black berry and cherry.

Smoked, peppery meaty flavor dominates. Not my cup of tea, but I appreciate the craftsmanship.
