A Louis Jadot project in Oregon, this is really nicely done. Very Meursault-like nose features toasty oak notes, oatmeal, wet limestoney seeming earth (is there even any limestone in the Willamette Valley?). Nice appley/pear fruit. Acids are unsurprisingly softer than the Côte d’Or, but the flavors are spot-on. Loads of fruit and mineral-inflected earth. Slight bitter note in the finish is welcome. Really good!

Few notes from others on the 2022. This it happens to be very very good for 37$. 13.5%. Lacks a little bit of heft and elegance - but otherwise really well done and at this quality level who can argue with the price. Some nuttiness, lemon curd, sour mandarine, touch lime. This could be a great by the glass wine in any high end restaurant!
