The back of the bottle happens to say “contentment and prosperity for all”. That’s what I wish for all of my Delectable friends this Christmas holiday and New Year. I’m off until after Christmas so I plan on doing lots of cooking, spending time with family and relaxing! Now I need to stuff these stockings while sipping on this bold, full bodied, fruitful, delicious wine! Cheers and happy Friday!

Full of light, crisp, fruity flavors - pairs easily with plain or salted nuts, and creamy cheeses or avocado over whole grain crackers. Tasty!

Ripe Strawberry raspberry black cherry. Dried herbs with red flowers. Peppercorn and smoke. Organic earth. Maybe reminds @Shannon Hurley of Italian wines, but I don't drink enough to know.

Easy tannins, slightly chewy, reminiscent of a Pinot Noir, almost Beaujoulais-esque. Medium-long finish of chocolate-covered raisin.

Color of dark dried blood with shades of purple, just a bit hazy. Nose of leather, currants, some fresh grapes too, some cranberry, and blackberry. Taste follows the nose with addition of spice and refined tannins, some more sweetness from ripe grapes and a bit hickory, and a bit grassy tobacco leaves. Aftertaste has some more sweetness, zest, and grassy note. On par.
