I imagine that Amador County does way better than this on the reg.

A compilation wine made from grapes of many different vineyards. Ripe and powerful dark fruit aromas and flavors with touches of vanilla, dried herbs and oak. Juicy and pretty well balanced acidity. Noticeable tannins but not overpowering.

Balanced, not just a berry bomb. A good go to wine.

It's surprisingly soft for an Amador Zin, the fruit isn't overpowered and it openly begs to be enjoyed as a table wine. Finishing a bottle is as easy over conversation as it is with a salty hard cheese.
