This wine is awesome. Decanted for two hours. Cherry and blackberry. Very smooth finish.

A bit more modern Barolo than I might prefer but with nice body and color. A bit too much coffee and chocolate / mocha. Still good dark fruits, anis / licorice and tar. Served with a New York Strip steak, sautéed spinach and sautéed mushrooms. Interestingly, bottle label says 2007, cork is stamped 2006.

Distinct liquorice and tobacco. Light body with a fine, beautiful dryness. Praise barolo!

Leather, smoked sage, fennel, rosemary with bitter orange, tart cherry and tons of spice. Very classic expression of La Morra with a dollop of new oak slapped on top.

Still my favourite grape. Great expression of a Barolo.

Too young needs time to settle down tannins and acid on fleek.

Still some grip here, but sippable without food. Beautiful expression of roses, licorice, and a hint of leather. Could age more but you wouldn't regret opening it now. Definitely heat so I would be wary of making this an aperitif
