Black Cherry, Blackberry , dark bottle notes pair well with mellow char/plank notes. Some sediment noticeable (filter or live on the edge). Hour decant.

Enjoy with fresh black cherry chutney (natural & acidic, not sweetened sweet) pair with stewed beef, grilled ribs, planked salmon (lil’crispy and savory edges), plenty of acidity to cut through, will not stand up to overtly heavy flavors (KC Masterpiece not-so-much), err in classy aged, fruit accented direction. Personally paired with Hickory planked Salmon (could of used a pinch of fruit & acidity)... simple steak or Portobello also work.

Earmark for Black Cherry & Blackberry season.

Cherry, black cherry, dark tertiary notes, slightest hint of brett far in the background. Beautiful brickish red, decent amount of sediment on walls of bottle. Medium body, med tannin (aged, chill, activated with turbulence). Elegant.

Fantastic on its own, and with a nice steak, or turkey with cranberry.

Tasty selection

Very nice, smooth, super easy to drink, lil bit of sediment, best with a simple steak. Fruit notes of cherry and plum, dark notes of earth, cocoa, and tannin.
