What a wine. 100+ year old Marsanne from a top site in St. Peray. Exceptionally pungent and clean funky mineral Marsanne nose. Palate is viscous with wonderful texture and finesse. Enormous power and concentration. Very backwards but wow this is like white hermitage in its structure. So lean and mineral and almost tannic on the finish. Insane wine. Best vintage so far. I'm sure will open up with air.
