Very dark, almost opaque in the glass. I smell peppery eucalyptus laced with a bit of blueberries on the nose. Mouthfeel is beautiful. Flavor is difficult to pin down...woody and dry, not fruity at all, more earthy. I would score higher if there more notes of growing things, but all flavors lean toward lifeless organic materials. Finish is medium long.

Very nice with blueberry, dark/stone fruits, pepper, black cherry...good finish with nice tannins.
