Red Newt Cellars
Riesling Bullhorn Creek Vineyard
A touch more fruit than the last but not any less mineral acidity.

Aug 15th, 2017This site continues to be one of my favorite - such tension and redemption. Acid and floral, peach, nectarine, herbs and quince.

Oct 14th, 2014First NY wine! Petrolly nose with citrus/limestone, pretty underripe fruit. Bone dry with razor sharp acidity, a little light and austere and the petrol is pretty strong on the palate. All in all pretty nice.

Aug 11th, 2014Nice, but needs to be served very cold. Solid nose, but wine lacked crispness and had medium minus depth. Classic Finger Lakes Riesling flavor, but better vineyards out there for the QPR.

Oct 14th, 2015My favorite of Red Newt's single vineyard bottlings: lime curd, Granny Smith, honeysuckle & major beeswax. Razor sharp focus. Drinking beautifully now, but I'd love to taste what 5-8 years in cellar might yield.
