Dusty notes of currant and raspberry jam on the nose. The dust component shows through on the palate with mocha and med weight tannins. Really impressive structure and aging beautifully. Cellar at least another 5 - but drinking sublime right now.

Great structure, nice body, chewy, with verve. Earthy and savory, baked clay, underbrush, smoke and menthol. Just a tad austere. More generous fruit would have elevated this.
It hit another level on day 2, with the flavors crystallizing and more dried fruit, coffee, and milk chocolate coming on. Complex, food friendly and delish!
