Lighter on it's feet and more savory than one would expect at 15.2% alc. Reminds me of Pax bottlings from this era, which is a compliment. Drinking well, but going downhill from here.

The deep red '05 Red Car Syrah 'The Fight - Round 3 Continues' synced the nose and palate with menthol, blackberries, licorice and tobacco leaf aromas and flavors. It showed elegant finesse and concentration. Medium to full-bodied with great depth and length.
