Changes a lot with an hour of air. Nose starts complex with abundant lavender. Otherwise initially wound up and hard to peer in to. Air inverts it, with the nose fading and nice complexity arriving on the palette, most pronounced by currant, white pepper, and mint.

2013- needed some time to open but once it did, very smooth, very round with nice flavor to complete it. Very nice! #redcarwinery #pinotnoir

Dark red fruits, some spice, some herbal notes (like bay leaf), not too heady and not too light -- well balanced and delicious all around.
