Rebelle
Red Bordeaux Blend

Deep purple in color; black cherries, cassis, and graphite on the nose; medium acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like cherries, pomegranates, wet gravel, and a hint of menthol with a long finish. Needs to breath for about 30 minutes. Nellie doesn't Iike it. I like it, but there's a bitter flavor that detracts from its flavors.

Dark coating on the cork. The depth of rich crimson here becomes opaque at a certain level.
Soapy red cherry on the nose. Otherwise fresh greenery and invites complex pairing possibilities due to evaporating bitterness.
Palate-wise, the sweet tomato sauce of my pairing contrasts a rich and plentiful forestscape/rich soil in varying degrees of bitterness. 70% Cab Sauv and 30% Malbec almost necessitates a good pairing.
Less rounded, but remarkably characteristic of all my Saranty imports I've trusted, this red will deliver a bang for the buck!
Paired with parmesan flatbread.
