Not my favorite Realm, not my favorite vintage, but still damn good.

Apr 29th, 2021Hard to rate. It’s very good, it’s Realm, but it’s 2017.

1 person found it helpfulSep 1st, 2020First time trying Realm’s merlot driven blend. Dark ruby. Black cherry, chalky tannins. Chocolate, plum. Fantastic structure. A big bold merlot. I’ll look forward to trying the 18s and 19s for comparison.

Apr 11th, 2022What can I say, it’s Realm! Been holding the 2017 Tempest for a couple years and decided to try one. I mean it’s 2017, and it’s their Merlot based blend…but it’s still pretty dang good. Loads of black fruit forward with still a tight structure and a nice finish. A 30 min decant helps. Realm is really really moving up my list, glad I’ve been stocking up on them!
