Apr 19th, 2020Vintage 2016 | Rich, cherries, happiness, the label is synchronous with the velvety structure of the wine. With a powerful backbone, still tannins.

May 29th, 2022Nice midrange cab with a little bit of everything. Hint of earth, oak, and a dash of spice. Very nice but not exceptional. Curious as to how cellaring would treat it. Guess I’ll never know!

Dec 1st, 2019The catchy suede label is actually quite fitting for the wine because suave is the one word came to mind when I drank this.
Blueberry, fig, pine cone, and dark chocolate. Rich, textured but quite balanced. Velvety tannins. A bit pretentious.

The finish is velvety just like the label. The 2016 is the best wine in its price range. A friend, Brant, brought it and I thought it should be an $85 wine and a good $85 wine at that. Lots of fruit, dark licorice, blackberries, the nose alone was enough to almost satisfy me but with a nose like that you just have to taste swirl it around to get the full flavor but of course swallow it. Too good to spit it out. Very impressed. This is my new house wine. Going out to buy several cases tomorrow.
