Medium ruby, thin, mild, smooth, easy to sip, and to me not a lot of flavor. Not a bad wine, just uninteresting, a little watery, with some mild astringency in the finish. Not at all objectionable but also not much to it. I've had better merlot for the $12 this bottle cost.

Still airing out, but good fruit base with a muted aftertaste. Lasting palate creaminess. Defining taste.
