Yesterday it was a bit one-dimensional, but tonight it’s more nuanced and subtle. Nose has cassis and dark blackberry ooze, along with nice graphite and loamy notes. Soft and balanced, it’s not complex but still has a sense of elegance. Bottle age has benefitted this wine.

Deeply earthy nose, but it's of the clean gravelly type. It's integrated with dark berry fruit. A little hint of dark chocolate (which is not my fave but whatever). Rich and dry in the mouth. Not jammy at all. Very nice balance.

An elegant, fragrant, poised wine. Subtly perfumey scents of mixed dark ripe berry containers and wet stream stones. Intense but not jammy, with linear clingy Rhone-like flavors of iodiney/minerally notes with dark blackberry. Good acidity too. Really fine.

Been saving this bad boy for for quite some time and finally had the perfect opportunity to open it. Shared this bottle with two of my best friend, Mikey and Matt :) I live them so much and glad we shared this vintage together. It was delicious and much more fruit forward. Paired it with a red sauce bolognese pasta cooked by Mikey

Was good, going to age other bottle in cellar for another year.
