Royal St. Robert Cuvee named in honor of Dante and Carlo Mondavi's grandfather who taught them to be committed to excellence. Medium Ruby color with layered aromas of fresh berry fruits with floral and smoky spice notes. On the palate flavors of strawberry and raspberry with cigar box, oak, tea, citrus and herb floral notes. Well balanced, savory fine tannins, long finish ending with oaky earthy notes. Very nice!

The 2020 Pinot Noir Royal St. Robert is a very pretty, nuanced wine. Crushed red berry fruit, mint, dried flowers, herbs and a kiss of orange zest all grace this mid-weight, beautifully perfumed Pinot. There is very slight touch of astringency in the tannin, but that is a very small critique for a Pinot that offers so much sensuality and pure class. This is an impressive showing from Raen. This wine we opened a couple days ago the 2019 Raen Sonoma Coast Royal St. Robert Cuvée Pinot Noir. From Sebastopol, California. The Mondavi boy's, Carlo and Dante, have done a wonderful job with this one.

On the nose there is juicy strawberry, cherry, raspberry, orange peel, mushroom, hibiscus, spice, dried roses and forest floor.

On the palate is strawberry, cherry, raspberry, cranberry, mushroom, spice, black tea, forest floor and earth.

This wine is medium bodied with a beautiful smooth fresh mouthfeel medium to medium+ acidity and medium fine polished tannins that has a long red fruit forest floor finish. I wish everyone one a Happy Thanksgiving and continued health. Please stay safe and have beautiful day with family and friends. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷

pale ruby; very lifted, feminine, red cherry, rose petals, pine needles, spice; weightless on the palate, nice acidity, light fine grained tannins, only 12.5% ABV; selection of finest barrels, homage to their grandfather Robert Mondavi, 100% whole clusters, native ferment, aged in neutral French oak barrels
