One of those wines that immediately captivates and excites. Quite good. Perfumed white flowers, wet stones, and the richness of lemon meringue with buttery crust. The mouthfeel is layered, expansive, and multi-faceted, showing all the goods and textures.

The purity and freshness of fruit with 4 years in the bottle is unmatched. Peaches, fleshy apricot, and orchard fruits slowly transition from delicate and airy to broad and expressive on the back of the palate, without being over the top. Begs for mollusks.

Oak is a bit out of balance at this age. It melded some after about an hour open.

If you tasted blind, bet you say Burgundy. One of the best Cali chard's in a long time.

Nice balance for oak and butter, but light on both. Crisp and refreshing. Great w/a burger and avacado.
