Medium mix of garnet and ruby red with light sediment. A touch of greenery on the nose, less than expected for a Raats. Notes of chalk, dark spices and red berries too. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium bodied. Very dry with flavors of cherries, spices, and some earthiness. Long and dry finish. Drink till 2019.

Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and medium bodied. Layers of red cherries, gravel, dust, chalk and a touch herbaceous. Medium plus finish. Drinking well right now and will drink well for the next couple years. Drink till 2019.
