Some people think Zinfandel this age doesn’t work. Those people haven’t tasted this one. Not only was it wonderful two nights ago when we drank only half because we wanted to be able to stay awake for the show, it’s still lovely, and we’ll finish it during tonight’s outdoor Shakespeare show.

While described as fuller bodied by Quivira, compared to many Zins I find it a bit lighter with lingering spice. Great with pizza.
