With rump roast browned with sliced red onions, braised in coffee and red wine. The perfect accompaniment. — 4 months ago
Popped and poured; consumed over three days. Best on day three. The 2019 Quivira “Q Collection” Sauvignon Blanc pours a pale straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose the wine is bursting with bright citrus fruits, fresh herbs, fresh asparagus, fennel and minerals. There is an overwhelming sense of freshness that is very attractive. On the palate the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Citrus fruits, namely grapefruit and lime, dominate accompanied by limestone-like minerals. The finish is long, zippy and satisfying. I dig this style of California Sauvignon Blanc: bright and energetic. — a month ago
