Made from low yielding 90-year old vines, deep Ruby with aromas of red/black fruits and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with cacao, black pepper and floral citrus. Firm tannins on a long finish ending with fruit and mineral character. Nice but needs a few years in big the bottle!!

Phenomenal wine. Muted dried fruit. Quite dry. Lovely tannin , earthy barnyard nose. Lovely overall

GL Portugal tasting 2/15/17. Nose that's complex and more towards the savory side more black and some red berries. Palate very round and balanced and supple with medium length. Blend of varietals unknown. Could be over 30 varietals. 6-7k bottles.

extremely balanced for a 15.5% alcohol loaded wine - sincere and cool character, super soft tannins, graphite, violets and integrated ripe fruit. no lady marmelade!
