A nice Portuguese red from the Dão region. Great value and nice for this price point.

I’ve been told that Portuguese wine gives you strange dreams. Standby on that. Spicy and earthy. Peppery. Not at all boring

Sweet, slightly floral aroma with peppery spice. Flavour is sweet and fruity, peppery finish.

Very bold and flavorful, dark black fruit on the nose. Heavy body and dense color. Ripe and strong tank is nicely balanced with acidity and fruit flavors.

Good for price. Not overly complex.

Great tasting...not complex...good price. ..very Portuguese.

I may have to try this again, had it after several nice bottles. I was not overly happy with it at the time. Drinks okay but nothing special, lingers oddly. Like I said may have been because of the place in the line up that night.

Needs air. Bitter fruit roll ups, skin and oak tannin. Thin in the mid section, something a little sauce and bread could pair with.

This is indeed a hidden gem. Waitress wasn't even sure if they still had it. Nice violet color. Oaky floral aroma. Medium acidity. Slightly peppery, light chocolate and blackberry. Smooth finish and mild tannin.
