Interesting how this wine changes from sniff to swallow. Comes of sweet and oxidative, then bay laurel, then citrus on the palate.

Don't sit and sip this wine! It's not for a porch session or "the ladies who lunch." It's briny, savory and luscious. Have her with foods like crab, sushi, flounder. I'm sipping this alone and all of a sudden I feel U should be cooking, and I can't cook!

Nice acidity, short in palate... I've tasted better wines from Monterrei!

I've never had a wine quite so fruitily citrus - ripe, juicy lemons and oranges. Floral too, with orange blossom. High acidity. Best with food - drank it with chicken, turnip, leek, carrot dish.

Intense, mineral, slightly floral, great mouthfeel. A wonderful Spanish white.

Confused n conflicted- indeed thought it’s w blend, which seems what Mateo-García does best, but salesman at shop insisted it’s Godello mono. Like the herbaceousness, body seems too full and lush for milder acidity...

Beautiful, interesting and refreshing. Has a bit of a Rhône like character to it. In a good way.
