Shy black fruit, wet rocks, a salty whiff, a hint of undergrowth and a pinch of spice.
Fresh, juicy, enticing, savoury with a sweet edge.
Reminiscent of a Blaufränkisch with maybe a bit more cherry and less plum.
Fresh on the palate, quite light, crunchy, juicy tannins, vibrant acidity. Black fruit, undergrowth, baking spice.
So light footed yet with great flow, presence & character. Amazing energy.
This is so juicy & drinkable! Love it! — 4 days ago
Fabulous bottling. Singular exemplar of what albariño can do at the highest level. Tightrope between grassy, herbaceous Sauvignon blanc opening & smoky Riesling finish. Reminds you why albariño was thought to be a Riesling clone. Zippy acid, lime, smoky apple fruit, fabulous texture and long penetrating finish. 200 y/o vines. 😍 — 9 days ago

Wow. This was pretty different from the first bottle. Open from the get-go here, the glass was filled with floral, spicy, and red-fruited aromas. Lovely verticality and chock full of energy, with lip-smacking sweet red fruits, chalky tannins, and a bittersweet herbaceous finish. Delicious! — 4 days ago
